Beast of Bodmin Beer Loaf

Our newest bread special is a double celebration of fermentation, thanks to the incorporation of locally-brewed Beast of Bodmin ale from the talented team at Firebrand. The malty, toasty notes and subtle hop flavours are locked into the bread by cooking both wheat bran and wholegrains in the beer, then fresh from the oven the loaves are brushed with more beer, sweetened with a touch of barley malt. The result is an incredibly moist loaf with a real depth of flavour.
